1. Introduction

Welcome to our website and services.

These Terms of Service govern your use of our website, programmes, training services, work experience services, and related offerings.

By accessing our website, registering interest, making payment, enrolling in a programme, or using any of our services, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms together with our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree, you should not use our website or services.

In these Terms:

  • “Company”, “we”, “us”, “our” means Skillgrowth Limited trading as 9 Global Careers
  • “You”, “student”, “client”, “participant” means the user or purchaser of services

3. Our Services

We may provide:

  • Career training programmes
  • CPD-accredited learning programmes (where stated)
  • Work experience placements
  • CV and interview support
  • Employability coaching
  • Mentoring
  • Job search support

Specific services included in your purchase will be outlined before enrolment.


4. Eligibility

By enrolling, you confirm:

  • You are legally capable of entering a contract
  • Information you provide is accurate
  • You will engage professionally and honestly

5. Payments

Where fees apply:

  • Payment must be made in full or under an agreed instalment plan
  • Instalments may be charged every 30 days unless otherwise agreed
  • Missed payments may result in paused access to services
  • Certificates or completion confirmations may be withheld until balances are cleared
  • Hard Copy €30 certification / Digital Certification is free
  • €20 Quiz retake after 2 failed attempts for an additional 2 attempts
  • 1 Free final exam 50 questions MCQ – retakes of exam – €50
  • €200 reactivation fee after 3 months

You remain responsible for the full agreed balance subject to applicable consumer law.


6. Cooling-Off Period / Cancellation / Refunds

Where consumer law applies, you may have a 14-day cancellation period from enrolment unless digital content or services have already commenced with your consent.

Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to:

info@9globalcareers.ie

Once any of the following has occurred:

  • Login credentials have been issued and accessed
  • Training materials have been released
  • Coaching, mentoring, or onboarding has started
  • The programme start date has passed and service delivery has commenced

No refunds will be due, except where required under applicable law.

If cancellation is requested after services have started, you may remain liable for the full outstanding contract balance subject to applicable consumer legislation.

Nothing in these Terms removes or limits any mandatory statutory consumer rights.


7. Programme Structure

Programmes may include one or more of the following:

  • Training modules
  • Assessments
  • Mentoring work experience placement
  • Career support

You must complete required stages before progressing to later stages.


8. Work Experience Terms

Where included as part of your programme:

  • Work experience is primarily educational and vocational in nature.
  • Placements may be delivered remotely, on a hybrid basis, or in person depending on the supervising accountant and business requirements.
  • Placements may be unpaid where legally permissible, as they are structured as voluntary work experience rather than employment.
  • Participants are required to complete the training component of the programme before commencing the work placement.
  • Placements are guaranteed as part of the programme purchased.
  • Placements will commence within 6 weeks of successful completion of the training programme and any required assessments.
  • Each placement is guaranteed for a minimum duration of 12 weeks.
  • Participants are expected to commit to a minimum of 8 hours per week, unless otherwise agreed with the supervising accountant.
  • The placement includes the opportunity to gain practical accounting experience and to work under the supervision of a qualified chartered accountant.
  • Placement providers may include independent accountancy practices, qualified professionals, or associated businesses.
  • Upon successful completion of the placement, participants will receive a professional reference and confirmation of work experience from the supervising chartered accountant.
  • Employment is not guaranteed.
  • Strong performance during the placement may lead to introductions, further references, or employment opportunities, but no job offer is promised.

9. Career Support

Following successful completion, we may provide:

  • CV assistance (Included in cost)
  • Cover letter guidance (Included in cost)
  • Interview coaching (Aftercare service)
  • Reference support (Included in cost)
  • Job search guidance (Free aftercare service)

Career support scope may vary by programme.


10. Student Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Attend scheduled calls, sessions, or placement commitments
  • Behave respectfully toward staff, mentors, and hosts
  • Complete requested tasks honestly
  • Keep confidential information private
  • Follow professional standards

11. Misconduct

We may suspend or terminate services without refund for serious misconduct including:

  • Abuse or harassment
  • Fraudulent behaviour
  • Threatening conduct
  • Repeated disruption
  • Misuse of confidential information
  • Damage to our reputation through knowingly false statements

12. Intellectual Property

All training materials, branding, website content, templates, systems, and resources remain our intellectual property unless stated otherwise.

You may use materials for personal learning only.

You may not reproduce, resell, copy, distribute, or share materials without written permission.


13. Website Use

You must not:

  • Attempt unauthorised system access
  • Upload malware or harmful material
  • Use the site unlawfully
  • Misrepresent your identity

We may restrict access where necessary.


14. Third Parties

We may use third-party trainers, mentors, accountants, payment processors, software providers, or placement hosts.

We are not responsible for independent third-party services outside our reasonable control.


15. Complaints Procedure

Complaints should be submitted in writing to:

We aim to review complaints fairly and typically respond within 20 working days.


16. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

  • Indirect losses
  • Loss of profits
  • Loss of opportunity
  • Loss of business
  • Data loss

Nothing excludes liability for fraud, death, personal injury caused by negligence, or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.


17. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or disruption caused by events beyond reasonable control, including:

  • Technical outages
  • Government restrictions
  • Illness
  • Natural events
  • Transport disruption

18. Privacy

Use of your data is governed by our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws including laws applicable in Ireland.


19. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland.

Any dispute shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Irish courts.


20. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

Updated Terms take effect once published on our website or communicated to you.

Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
